GQ Rebranded

An episodic series for GQ about sports branding - how it works, the history behind it, and how I would approach it.

In this episode, we took a look at the Kansas City Chiefs - we discussed the rich history of the team, the importance of cultural/community connections to sports teams and tackled why a "rebrand" doesn't always mean throwing the whole thing in the bin and starting from scratch just to do it.

The premiere episode of a new series I am hosting with GQ Sports: “GQ Rebranded”. In each episode I will be breaking down the history of an identity, my interpretation of why it works the way it does, and then give my own take at how the identity could come to life. For this first episode we looked at the LA Clippers.
